Malta Beaches – Ghar Lapsi

Rating: Għar Lapsi (meaning Ascension Cave) is a small rocky bay, located close to Dingli, 1 km north-west of the Blue Grotto. Here it’s possible to swim within a sheltered rocky inlet (basically a natural swimming pool), which, on calm water days, is actually also a great place to snorkel or for diving practitioners. There’s no real beach there, but it’s possible to sunbathe on the concrete terraces surrounding the inlet. There are a bar (also serving sandwiches and hot dishes) and a bigger restaurant nearby.
